What Are The Real Estate Awards?
The Real Estate Awards are an international, jury-led recognition programme honouring outstanding work across every layer of the property value chain — from master developers shaping new cities to luxury agencies redefining customer experience, from architectural practices producing buildings that define a generation to construction firms delivering technical excellence at scale.
Built around a transparent judging framework, independent global jury and a 90+ country footprint, the awards have become the most internationally trusted real estate recognition programme. The 2026 edition covers 35+ categories across five regions, with both project-level and corporate-level recognition.
Recognition matters because the buyer, partner, lender and talent decisions in real estate are credibility-driven. Institutional investors evaluating developer track-record, HNW buyers shortlisting luxury agencies, multinational tenants choosing landlords and engineers choosing employers all read independent third-party recognition as a primary credibility signal.
Who Should Enter The Real Estate Awards?
The programme is open to every organisation operating across the property value chain. Property developers, master developers, residential and commercial builders, mixed-use specialists, luxury developers, sustainable developers and affordable housing developers all enter the developer category set. Architectural practices, interior designers, landscape architects and smart-building specialists enter the architecture and design category set.
Real estate agencies, brokers, sales teams, property management companies, proptech innovators, construction firms and adjacent property businesses each have dedicated category sets reflecting the specific commercial dynamics of their sector. The programme is intentionally inclusive — small boutique studios compete fairly within their own context alongside global brand names.
- Property Developers — Master, residential, commercial, mixed-use, luxury, sustainable, affordable housing
- Architects — Residential, commercial, hospitality, civic, adaptive-reuse, sustainable design
- Real Estate Agencies — Boutique, regional and global brokerage networks
- Brokers & Sales Teams — Individual broker, team and agency-level recognition
- Construction Firms — Main contractors, specialist contractors, infrastructure builders
- Interior Designers — Residential, commercial and hospitality interior practices
- Property Managers — Asset management, facilities management and property operations
- Proptech Innovators — Technology platforms reshaping real estate sales and operations
Award Categories And Tracks
The Real Estate Awards span 35+ categories across five regions. Project-level categories recognise specific buildings, communities or developments; corporate-level categories recognise sustained organisational performance. Regional categories ensure projects compete fairly within their own market context, while global categories judge the world's best work against unified international criteria.
Developer Of The Year
For outstanding multi-project corporate performance.
Architecture Excellence Award
For boundary-pushing buildings and architectural practices.
Luxury Property Of The Year
For exceptional villas, branded residences and ultra-prime apartments.
Real Estate Agency Of The Year
For agencies redefining sales performance and customer experience.
Sustainable Property Of The Year
For net-positive, low-carbon and ESG-aligned projects.
Smart Building Of The Year

Each category is judged against published criteria by an independent jury of senior global experts. Scoring weights, judging methodology and shortlist criteria are published in advance — there are no closed-door decisions.
Why Real Estate Brands Enter The Awards
Independent buyer research consistently shows that third-party recognition is the single most trusted signal in real estate buyer, investor and partner decisions. For developers raising institutional capital, an independent global award sits alongside track-record disclosure as a credibility signal with global LPs. For luxury developers and agencies selling to international buyers, the award seal is a meaningful conversion lever in cross-border premium product.
Past winners consistently report measurable commercial impact — stronger inbound demand, faster sales cycles, higher conversion in international markets, improved competition shortlist rates and stronger inbound recruitment. The award is not a marketing trophy; it is a credibility multiplier with defined commercial outcomes.
The programme is followed closely by global luxury press, real estate publications, institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth allocators and HNW concierge platforms. Recognition translates directly into media reach, partnership conversations and HNW referral flow.
How To Win A Real Estate Award
Strong entries share a common architecture: a clearly defined project or organisation scope, evidence-led narrative, measurable outcomes and a presentation of work that allows the jury to assess design, performance and impact without ambiguity. The entry framework is intentionally lean — most submissions can be prepared by a marketing or strategy team in two to three working days.
We recommend entering between two and four categories. A residential developer, for example, might enter Developer Of The Year, a project-level category (such as Luxury Property Of The Year), and a corporate-level category (such as Sustainable Developer Of The Year). Multi-category entries qualify for discounted fees and increase the probability of winning at least one category, while spreading messaging across distinct industry audiences.
The Judging Process
Entries are scored independently by a panel of senior global jurors including property developers, master architects, real estate fund executives, urban planners and academic experts. Jurors declare conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from any entry where independence cannot be guaranteed.
Scoring uses a published weighting framework. Developer awards weight financial performance, project delivery and customer outcomes most heavily. Architecture awards weight design quality, technical resolution and innovation. Sustainability awards weight measurable environmental performance and credible certification. Broker and agency awards weight transaction performance, customer satisfaction and brand credibility.
Final shortlists are reviewed by a chair-led panel before announcement. Shortlisted entrants are notified ahead of the gala and receive recognition assets reflecting their placement, while final winners are revealed live on the night to preserve the credibility and theatre of the announcement.
Submit Your Real Estate Awards Nomination
Nominations are submitted online via the official entry portal. Each category takes 20–30 minutes to complete and accepts written submissions, project images, drawings, videos and supporting evidence. Once submitted, entries are acknowledged by the awards secretariat and progress through eligibility review, jury scoring, shortlisting and final winner announcement.
Detailed entry resources, sample entries and category criteria are published throughout this site. The awards team can be contacted directly for entry consultation, particularly for first-time entrants or organisations entering multiple categories.
